Walked across Charles Bridge several times and took note of all the statues! Took in more detail around the Little Quarter – a lot less touristy than the old town.
We visited the Jewish Quarter and got a ticket for all the Jewish museums. They were organised according to theme – Jewish life, worship and death. The museums were housed in synagogues – beautifully presented exhibits. The most moving was several halls covered with the names of Czech Jews who had died during the holocaust and a room devoted to children’s artworks from the Terezin ghetto.
We had lunch at Kafka cafe and had fried fish (really a giant fishfinger) and punch, and Anthony had fried port schnitzel again with no side order. Kept us going until we got home and Tesco food in fridge!
Anthony had a kransky on roll for dinner.
