Just two weeks before we leave on our Middle Eastern adventure.

Anthony and I first fly from Sydney to Abu Dhabi with Ethiad airways and  overnight at the Intercontinental Hotel. The next day we fly to Athens for a week in an apartment just minutes away from the Acropolis and other historic sites which we booked through airbnb. We then start our Empires of Antiquity cruise on the Seven Seas Mariner from Athens to Istanbul. Stopover highlights of the cruise include: Santorini, Crete, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Rhodes, Anatyla and Ephesus. Then a week in a central Istanbul apartment which we booked through airbnb.  Finally a three-night stopover in Abu Dhabi which includes two nights at the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort and one night close to one of Abu Dhabi’s largest shopping malls.
