We’re finally here at the Hilton Airport Hotel in Rome.

A lovely hot shower and feeling much more human. We paid for an upgrade which qualifies us for their Executive lounge, free wifi and breakfast. And a small tin of olive oil!

Flight to Doha wasn’t too bad. Anthony had secured us a two-seater which gave us far more leg room. We were both tired and a small relaxing pill helped. I slept for 12 hours and woke for breakfast.

Hamann International Airport in Doha is huge. It was good to stretch our legs walking from one end to the other. The two-hour stop over went quickly.

I slept some more on our flight to Rome. There was a better selection of new releases so ended up seeing Brooklyn and Spotlight – both great movies.

Don’t know if I would recommend Qatar airways. Check in was incredibly slow. Air hostesses are not very warm.  Not a great selection of movies on the long haul flight. But the two seater was the best option in economy.
