Another foggy start for our day trip to Bath. Our destination was a Park and Ride station south of Bath and we then caught the shuttle bus into Bath at a cost of £5.50 return for the two of us.
Bath is just beautiful and so elegantly Georgian. A pity we only had a few hours.
This is my third visit to Bath. The first was a mere detour on our big family trip. We detoured on our way to Salisbury and bought a woollen travel rug for Kathryn and some cloth badges. I think we also saw the crescent.
Kathryn and I had a couple of nights in a B&B on our second trip. I remember the parking spot was really small and we focused on the Jane Austen experience – afternoon tea, the assembly rooms, the costume museum.
This time our highlights were the Roman Baths and lunch at the Scallop Shell.

Wow..this is definitely on my bucket list…the Roman baths look amazing.
